This blog is about Bollywood actress Malaika Arora,43, a divorcee, who will marry soon Arjun Kapoor, 34, a-9-year younger to her. She has written an article about herself, her love 💖 life, and getting married to her love-bird. Her article appeared in weekly magazine Brunch, which comes free with Sunday Hindustan Times. I have taken excerpts from Malaika Arora’s interview in Brunch to reproduce here. Enjoy this blog, like it and comment also. Follow me for blogs on offbeat and unusual things/developments/happenings. “But people who want to find love again, I would want to say, don’t be scared. Go out there and look for love. Love is a beautiful feeling. Don’t let love die. Do not let romance die. Give it second chance. And maybe even a third or fourth or fifth! Until really works out!
Malaika has boldly said about people: “you have problem if I wear something that doesn’t suit your taste? You have problem that I am divorced? You have problem that I have found love again? You have a problem that my partner happens to be younger than me? I’m not here to please everybody, let alone faceless people on social media!”
Her main emphasis in this article is, on how age must not stop one from doing whatever you want!
The age difference doesn’t really pop up when you are in relationship. It is about two minds and heart connecting. Unfortunately, we live in a society that refuses to progress with time. An older man romancing with a young girl is hailed everywhere, when the woman is older, she’s called ‘desperate’ and a ‘buddhi’.
When my marriage ended. I was not sure if I wanted to be in another relationship and was scared of being heart broken. But I also wanted to be in love, nurture a relationship and this new gave me the confidence to put myself out there and take a chance. I am so glad I did! “For people who want to find love again, don’t be scared! Give it second chance........and may be even third or fourth or fifth!”
“The real problem is not age. Society finds ways to shame woman through-out their lives. And if you are a strong and independent woman, you become a soft target”
“People are still intimidated by an opinionated, thinking, working woman and the best weapon they have is slander!”
“But people who want to find love again, I would want to say, don’t be scared. Go out there and look for love. Love is a beautiful feeling. Don’t let love die. Do not let romance die. Give it second chance. And maybe even a third or fourth or fifth! Until really works out!
I support Malaika Arora’s stand on her going for second marriage and that too with a person 8 years younger to her. I support this saying - Duniya ko latt Maro Duniya Salam Karai-. Congratulations Malaika Arora. My best wishes. Three cheers for your proposed marriage with Arjun Kapoor. May God bless you and your love-bird Arjun Kapoor.
