Chandigarh: Haryana State Vigilance Bureau (VB) has caught two officials accepting bribe. Sanjay Singh, a Clerk, posted at District Education Office, Hisar was caught while accepting illegal gratification of Rs 40,000 from one Mr. Sanjay Singh, a resident of village Mirzapur, district Hisar in lieu of the appointment of Class-IV on DC rate.

In another incident, VB has caught SI Pardeep Kumar, posted at office of Assistant Registrar, Cooperative Societies, Sonipat while accepting an amount of Rs 30,000 from Mr. Krishan illegally, a resident of Bhatgaon Maliyan in lieu of exonerating Mr. Sukhbir Singh, a resident of Bhatgaon Dungran in an enquiry.

The Bureau said, that a case has been registered against the accused under sections 7 and 13 of Prevention of Corruption Act. Further investigation of the case is in progress, he added.
