Gangster Daljit Bhana and aide acquitted in murder case

Jalandhar – Additional Session Court acquitted the charges of murder on notorious gangster Daljit Singh Bhana on Saturday. The court of Additional Session Judge Darbari Lal dismissed the charges in the murder case of Ishan Kumar alias Prince of Bank Colony, who was shot dead in Basti Bawa Khelyears before, along with these two fellows of Ishant Kumar, Jaswinder Singh and Sabi were badly injured. Daljit Singh alias Bhana of Basti Mittu and Ranbir Sandhu of DalDal Chawk acquitted of not being proved guilty.

Regarding this case, Shammi Kumar bereaved father of Ishant Kumar submitted his statement to the police that he alomg with his second son Mohit went to the shop of Ishant after work, Sabi and Jaswinder were already waiting there to meet him. Kumar added that “I called my son Prince out and as soon as my son came out of the shop, a car stopped there. Among them were Daljeet Singh Bhana, Inderjit Singhalias Lucky Ghuman, Ranbir Sandhu and Yudhvir, later Ranbir and Yudhvir came out of the car and started firing at us. They all were having pistols and guns, Daljit Singh Bhana strongly urged his colleagues to surround others with the Prince, no one should be left alive”.

Meanwhile, Daljit Singh Bhana fired four rounds of the bullet on my son, which hit the stomach and chest and he fell to the ground. Meanwhile, Ranbir Sandhu and Lucky Ghuman also opened firing, which took Sabi’s chest and stomachwhile one bullet hit Jaswinder’s head. He said that after this incident, we are the eyewitness of the case. The court decision has shattered our belief. He said that they will not stop here with the decision, will struggle for justice, father added. We will knock the doors of High Court and demand the SIT probe in this case. Father Shammi Kumar said that this is unfortunate that case has acquitted the accused Daljit Singh Bhana due to lack of evidence. He blamed the police for embezzlement of court evidence and said this issue will also be raised by our lawyer in High Court as well.
