Morena (Madhya Pradesh): “A case of gang rape has been registered against three persons, including Bhojpal, but no arrests have been made so far,” Morena superintendent of police Vineet Khanna said.

Jadon also threatened her of dire consequences if she told anyone of the incident.

Khanna said a police team visited the place where the woman was allegedly gang raped and has found an eyewitness who told the police that Jadon had taken the woman with him on Sunday night.

The 35-year-old woman, a resident of Sumawali village in Morena district, was trying to get a Below Poverty Line (BPL) ration card so that she could buy items such as rice and wheat at a subsidised rate.

Jadon, who is also a chairperson of society that runs the ration shop in the village, asked the woman to come to Morena to register herself for BPL card. When she visited his office in Morena on Sunday, Jadon allegedly took her to a room where he raped her along with his two associates, the woman has alleged.

Jadon also threatened her of dire consequences if she told anyone of the incident.

The woman told her husband about the incident and they registered the case with local police station later
