New Delhi, January 11, 2018: Indian Government said that it did not give much importance to a 'small' section of the NRI Sikhs spreading hatred against India in Canada and other countries.

Reacting for the first time to the ban on entry of the Indian diplomats and other officials in the Gurdwaras of USA, Canada and Europe, a spokesman of the External Affairs Ministry said  “The most of the Sikhs residing in Canada and other countries have emotional bonds with India. They want to maintain good relations with India; we do not take cognizance of the fringe elements spreading hatred and communal divide.”

It may be recalled that a number of Gurdwara management committees of Canada, USA and have announced to enforce ban on the Indian diplomats and other official in the Gurdwaras during the religious functions and other celebrations.
