SRINAGAR, OCtober 18: Police have issued a statement about the misuse of braid chopping information by vested interests, wherein driver was labelled as braid chopper by his owner for seeking salary.
The spokesman said the mischievous elements use this braid chopping as a tool in their personal disputes thus creating chaos.
“Jameel Ahmad Dar son of Gh. Mohd Dar resident of Sarpara Rafiabad used to work as tractor with one Mohammad Sultan Lone son of Abdul Subhan Lone of Gundchobutra Kralgund. On 16/10/2017, he went to owner’s house to get his salary amount of Rs 50,000 lying with the owner, but to his utter surprise, the owner firstly, on one or other pretext refused to pay him and then labeled him as braid chopper and created a scene in the village which attracted attention of other villagers who without any confirmation beat him to pulp, injuring him seriously. The injured was first shifted to Baramulla where from he has been shifted to SKIMS Soura for further treatment.”
The spokesman said the mischievous elements use this braid chopping as a tool in their personal disputes thus creating chaos. FIR has been registered in this regard at Police Station Kralgund against the accused and the investigation has been taken up.
